Our reporter learned that the Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port, located at No. 8 Luyuan Road, Huiji District, Zhengzhou City, was designated as a key provincial project in Henan Province for both 2012 and 2013—and also serves as a major "vegetable basket" project for both Henan Province and Zhengzhou City.

The logistics hub covers a total area of 420 mu, with a total investment of 1.8 billion RMB and a combined building area of 288,000 square meters. This includes a cold storage facility with a capacity of 200,000 tons (comprising 180,000 tons of low-temperature storage and 20,000 tons of constant-temperature storage), 50,000 square meters of commercial space, a 26,000-square-meter processing workshop, a 6,000-square-meter trading hall, and 13,000 square meters of supporting service facilities.

The first-phase project covers 196.2 acres, with an investment of 800 million yuan and a total construction area of 210,000 square meters. This includes a cold storage facility with a capacity of 180,000 tons, a 6,000-square-meter trading hall, and a 36,000-square-meter processing workshop. Additionally, it features 13,000 square meters of supporting facilities such as cold-chain logistics systems and an information service center.

Currently, Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port has developed into a large-scale, comprehensive wholesale logistics center integrating aquatic product processing, storage and preservation of livestock and poultry products, trading, quality and safety testing, nationwide cold-chain logistics transshipment, information services, and transaction settlement.
