The Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port is a key nodal market and research base for the nation’s strategic Belt and Road Initiative, serving as the Silk Road International Brand Port, a China Famous Brand Market, and one of the Top 50 National Cold Chain Logistics Enterprises. It also ranks among the top four-star cold chain warehousing and logistics providers. The company has maintained continuous compliance with the national ISO-9000 quality management system certification for many years. Moreover, the company’s proprietary "Cold Chain Food Logistics Center" management and operational guidelines were officially released and implemented by the Zhengzhou Municipal Market Supervision Administration in July 2022, becoming a local standard for Zhengzhou City. In the national meat industry, it is widely acknowledged that "National meat wholesale prices are guided by Zhengzhou, and Zhengzhou’s wholesale prices are shaped by the Logistics Port," vividly highlighting the port’s pivotal role and influence in China’s meat wholesale market.
Phase I: China's Largest Frozen Goods Wholesale Market in the Central and Western Regions
The Phase I project spans 196 acres, with a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan. It features a total construction area of 298,000 square meters, including a low-temperature cold storage facility capable of holding 180,000 tons of goods (covering 160,000 square meters), along with 23,000 square meters dedicated to retail spaces, a 22,000-square-meter trading hall, and 26,000 square meters allocated for inspection, testing, information services, and an advanced cold-chain logistics service center. Additionally, the project includes a 31,000-square-meter underground parking facility, as well as 36,000 square meters reserved for processing workshops and ancillary refrigeration buildings. The market is fully equipped with comprehensive support services, including financial, telecommunications, logistics distribution, e-commerce, and agricultural product testing facilities. Completed and put into operation in October 2013, the project marks the relocation of the entire "Zhengzhou Aquatic Products World" wholesale market—from its original site at Zhengzhou’s North Third Ring Road and Changxing Road—to this new location. To date, the market has attracted over 1,500 merchants and nearly 100 logistics companies, facilitating an annual commodity turnover exceeding 5 million tons, with transactions valued at more than 100 billion yuan. The project also generates over 200 million yuan in additional annual profits and taxes, while supporting employment for more than 30,000 people. Since its operational launch, Phase I has emerged as the largest warehousing, logistics, and wholesale trading hub for aquatic products, livestock and poultry products, and frozen foods in China’s central and western regions. Through this strategic logistics gateway, aquatic products from eastern and southern China, as well as livestock and poultry items from northeastern and northwestern areas, are efficiently distributed nationwide. The market now serves as a key distribution center, reaching across 30 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions—including Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Gansu, Guangxi, Fujian, Zhejiang, and major parts of Northeast China.
Phase II: National Meat Reserve Warehouse, Zhengzhou City's Centralized Supervision Warehouse for Imported Cold-Chain Food (Huiji), and Key Supply-Guarantee & Public-Benefit Enterprises at Provincial, Municipal, and District Levels
The Phase II project was completed and began operations in December 2015, covering an area of 125 acres with a total investment of 300 million RMB. The facility boasts a total construction area of 65,000 square meters, including a multi-functional building spanning over 20,000 square meters. It features a low-temperature cold storage capacity of 100,000 tons and a room-temperature cold storage facility capable of holding 10,000 tons—of which 30,000 tons are dedicated to the centralized supervision warehouse for imported cold-chain food products in Zhengzhou's Huiji District, serving more than 500 businesses.
The Zhengzhou Imported Cold-Chain Food Centralized Supervision (Huiji) Warehouse was approved by the two-level People's Governments of Zhengzhou City and Huiji District. The company invested in its construction, completing and commencing operations on January 20, 2021, before closing down at the end of 2022. Over the past two years, the supervised warehouse has ensured full-process monitoring, rigorous handling procedures, and standardized operations, safeguarding food safety and protecting the health of the public. As a result, residents can enjoy worry-free, high-quality food, leaving them thoroughly satisfied.
The Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port is a national hub for meat wholesale, warehousing, and logistics, serving as a key supplier to Henan Province and Zhengzhou City while supporting people's livelihoods. During major holidays like Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, as well as during the pandemic, the logistics port company has maintained reserves of up to one million tons of meat, continuously supplying the market. This proactive approach has played a vital role in stabilizing prices and ensuring stable living conditions for residents.
Phase III: National Trading Zone for Imported Cold-Chain Meat and Seafood Products
The construction project spans 276 acres and is a key provincial-level livelihood initiative in Henan Province. The company invested a total of 1.2 billion RMB, completing the project in May 2017. It boasts a total floor area of 420,000 square meters, with 300,000 square meters above ground and 120,000 square meters underground. Of this, 28.5 square meters are dedicated to retail and warehousing spaces, while an additional 15,000 square meters are allocated for research, inspection, testing, and supporting facilities. The market can accommodate over 2,500 businesses. Currently, more than 2,000 operators from across China—specializing in imported frozen meat products—are already established here, making it the largest specialized wholesale market in the country for imported cold-chain food products, including beef, lamb, pork, and seafood.
According to the company’s cold-chain food market development strategy, in early 2021, an exclusive zone for imported frozen meat products was established in Phase III, offering merchants comprehensive, integrated services—including customs clearance agency, logistics and warehousing, e-commerce solutions, and financial supply chain support. The company has already forged stable trade partnerships with over 100 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and beyond. Each year, it imports beef, lamb, pork, and seafood from nations such as Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Uruguay. Merchants can leverage the company’s extensive resources to engage in international trade—last year alone, orders for imported meat and aquatic products reached 60 billion RMB. Today, the Phase III market’s dedicated cold-chain food import zone has become the top choice for distributors and processors of imported cold-chain foods nationwide.
Phase III: Prefabricated Food R&D, Processing, and Sales Industrial Park
Developing the pre-made meal industry is a key strategic initiative for the company’s growth, as well as an important step in implementing the policies of the national, provincial, and municipal governments. In recent years, driven by strong market demand from both the catering sector and household consumption, the pre-made meal industry has steadily emerged as a new hotspot in China’s food processing sector. By 2026, the market size is projected to reach 1.072 trillion yuan. Meanwhile, Henan Province has set an ambitious goal: by 2025, the main business revenue of large-scale pre-made meal enterprises across the province will surpass 100 billion yuan.
To vigorously develop the pre-made meal industry, in 2021 the company initiated the construction of a third-phase pre-made meal industrial park spanning 276 acres, with a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan. The park boasts a total floor area of 360,000 square meters and includes state-of-the-art facilities such as a product trading center, R&D and testing center, e-commerce livestreaming center, and production-processing hub. The facility is designed to research and produce over 100 varieties of pre-made dishes across four key categories: ready-to-eat, ready-to-heat, ready-to-cook, and ready-to-mix, with an annual output exceeding 800,000 tons and an annual transaction value surpassing 20 billion yuan.
Global prefabricated food industrial parks, leveraging the company’s strengths in industry supply chains, cold-chain logistics, and more, utilize premium-quality meat and seafood sourced from around the globe as key ingredients. These parks bring together a leading research team in the prefabricated food sector, spearheaded by an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Guided by the philosophy that "the supply chain is the foundation, e-commerce serves as the tool, the ecosystem is the core, and innovation is the driving force," the parks have established a comprehensive, end-to-end value chain—from production and processing to cutting-edge technology development, e-commerce livestreaming, marketing strategies, and seamless logistics distribution. This integrated approach aims to refine the supply system, harness emerging technologies, and pioneer innovative marketing models, ultimately enabling China’s prefabricated dishes to reach global markets. More importantly, it seeks to allow people—both in China and across the world—to experience the beauty of traditional Chinese culture through exquisite cuisine, connecting them to the vibrant spirit and rich heritage of the Chinese nation. In this way, the initiative not only promotes and preserves Chinese cultural values but also enhances our country’s cultural soft power on the global stage.
As the living standards of our people continue to rise, domestic food supplies can no longer fully meet growing consumer demands. Consequently, imports of imported meat products have increased steadily year after year. In July 2014, Chairman Qiu Xinhang accompanied a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs and President Xi Jinping on a visit to four South American countries, where they signed a series of landmark procurement agreements. In line with the nation’s “Going Out and Bringing In” development strategy, the company has proactively organized several business groups to conduct in-depth market research in regions such as South America, Europe, and the Middle East, gaining valuable insights into local businesses and market dynamics. At the same time, the company has welcomed business delegations from Uruguay in South America, Ukraine and Belarus in Europe, as well as Saudi Arabia in the Middle East, fostering collaborative discussions on strategies for boosting food trade and encouraging market participants to actively engage in international commerce. Today, the number of import product distributors operating within the market has grown to over 700, with annual imports of meat and seafood products exceeding RMB 60 billion. To support merchants in expanding their overseas trade activities, the company provides financial guarantees and has acquired two key logistics companies—Tianjin Junhe Industrial Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Jin San International Logistics Co., Ltd.—in Tianjin’s Binhai New Area. These strategic acquisitions lay a solid foundation for further scaling up international trade operations, playing a crucial role in ensuring stable market supply and helping to keep prices under control.
In September 2018, the company was invited to participate in the 15th China-ASEAN Expo and the Henan-Guangxi Logistics Cooperation Forum, led by Vice Governor He Jinping. During the event, we signed a cooperation agreement with China’s Longbang and Vietnam’s Cha Ling Cross-border International Logistics Center. Additionally, we held multiple rounds of consultations and mutual visits with the People’s Governments of Beihai and Baise cities in Guangxi, fostering strategic trust and leveraging the gateway advantages of the China-Vietnam Cross-border Economic Cooperation Zone at Longbang Port. Together, we are jointly developing the Henan-Guangxi-ASEAN International Cold Chain Storage, Transportation, and Logistics Park. To date, we have already forged strategic partnership agreements with key cities and enterprises along the Belt and Road Initiative routes, marking a new chapter in Henan-Guangxi-ASEAN collaboration and underscoring the company’s growing global influence.
Based on national policies and the needs of economic development, the company is leveraging its robust market presence and diverse advantages in cold-chain logistics to aggressively expand into international trade. Recently, we established a dedicated International Trade Department and assembled a seasoned International Trade Team. Today, we’ve forged stable trading partnerships with over 50 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and beyond. Each year, we import high-quality beef, lamb, pork, poultry, and a wide range of seafood products from suppliers in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Uruguay, and other key markets. In 2021 alone, our imports of meat and seafood reached an impressive value of more than 60 billion yuan.

On top of these accolades, the port has been officially recognized by the Henan Provincial Government as a "Provincial Key Wholesale Market for Aquatic Products," an "Provincial Leading Enterprise," and a "Provincial Civilized and Trustworthy Market." Notably, it has maintained continuous compliance with the national ISO-9001:2015 Quality Management System certification for four consecutive years. Moreover, the port has been consistently acknowledged by the Zhengzhou Municipal Government as a "Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization" and a "Highly Influential Wholesale Market," regularly featuring among Zhengzhou’s "Top 10 Markets." Most recently, the management and operational guidelines for the "Cold Chain Food Logistics Center," drafted by the logistics port, were officially released and implemented nationwide on July 6, 2022, as a local standard of Zhengzhou City by the Zhengzhou Administration for Market Regulation.
The Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port is the nation’s leading wholesale, warehousing, and logistics hub for meat—particularly imported meats and seafood—and serves as a key supplier for Henan Province and Zhengzhou City. During holidays and especially during pandemic periods, the port maintains a robust inventory of up to one million tons, continuously supplying the market. This strategic stockpile has played a vital role in stabilizing prices and ensuring people’s livelihoods. As the saying goes, "Nationwide meat wholesale prices are guided by Zhengzhou, and Zhengzhou’s wholesale prices are set right at the logistics port," vividly highlighting the port’s pivotal position and critical function within China’s national wholesale market network.
Moving forward, the company will align with the national, provincial, and municipal "14th Five-Year" development plans, as well as key directives such as the "Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Cold-Chain Logistics to Ensure Food Safety and Boost Consumption Upgrades," issued by the General Office of the State Council; the "Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Logistics to Foster a Robust Domestic Market," jointly released by 24 departments including the National Development and Reform Commission; and the "Notice on Launching Pilot Programs for Supply Chain Innovation and Application," introduced by eight ministries including the Ministry of Commerce and the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing. With the overarching goal of "enriching people’s dining tables and enhancing their quality of life," the project will involve acquiring approximately 1,000 acres of land to build a state-of-the-art, smart, and digitally-driven cold-chain logistics industrial park. This initiative aims to establish a national-level core backbone cold-chain logistics hub, attracting leading enterprises in the industry. The project is slated to require a total investment exceeding 8 billion yuan, featuring a cutting-edge low-temperature cold storage capacity of 1 million tons and covering over 1.3 million square meters of floor space. It will accommodate more than 5,000 businesses and house a major domestic trading platform for bulk meat products, along with advanced regulatory and bonded customs inspection facilities. Ultimately, this facility will become the nation’s premier logistics hub for imported cold-chain food companies, drawing suppliers and traders from across the country. Once operational, the project is projected to facilitate annual transactions worth over 8 million tons, generating an estimated trade value surpassing 200 billion yuan—equivalent to roughly 100 billion yuan in additional foreign trade import revenue for our province each year. In addition, the project is expected to create direct employment opportunities for 50,000 individuals while indirectly supporting the livelihoods of another 100,000 people through related industries. Furthermore, complementary initiatives spanning finance, digital networks, logistics services, inspection and quarantine, transportation, and e-commerce platforms will catalyze rapid growth in neighboring sectors such as catering, retail supermarkets, hospitality, and tourism, positioning the project as a vibrant new engine driving regional economic expansion.
