On October 31, 2013, Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port officially began operations after attracting investment and undergoing extensive construction—built on the foundation of the original Zhengzhou Aquatic Products World. Today, it stands as a major market in China's central and western regions, seamlessly integrating the trading and processing of aquatic products and livestock commodities. It also serves as a large-scale cold-chain, warehousing, and logistics hub for the entire region. Riding the global wave of economic integration and benefiting from the favorable winds of China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port is setting sail once again.
The "Belt and Road" initiative is propelling the logistics industry into a vibrant new era—literally "running" toward spring. Since the beginning of the new century, the logistics sector has become a consistent highlight in nearly every annual government work report.

"Infrastructure connectivity—particularly in transportation—is both the foundation and the focal point of the Belt and Road Initiative. As the strategic impacts of initiatives like the Belt and Road, China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone, Zhengzhou-Luoyang-Xinxiang National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, and the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration continue to converge, Henan Province, strategically located at the heart of central China, is steadily emerging as a key player on the global stage of openness. Actively aligning with national policies and rooted in people's livelihoods, Henan Zhongyuan Aquatic Product Logistics Port has taken concrete actions to support the province's integration into the broader Belt and Road framework, making significant contributions to economic and social development. Over the past five years, Henan’s distinct advantages as a major transportation hub and logistics powerhouse have played a vital role in advancing its participation in the Belt and Road Initiative."
