The research team for the 3rd China's Top 100 Independent Brands visited the Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port.

On June 22, 2017, Li Congyu, Director of the Investment and Venture Department at the People's Forum Magazine of the People's Daily, along with a delegation of three, was invited to conduct a research visit to the Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port, focusing on outstanding Chinese-branded enterprises.

 

During the research process, Director Li Congyu and his delegation conducted an in-depth field study at the Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port, following the requirements for the "Top 100 Chinese Independent Brands" survey and evaluation. Qiu Xinhang, Chairman of Zhongyuan Aquatic Product Logistics Port; Li Junli, Executive Director; He Lihong, General Manager; and Lu Rongde, Office Director, warmly welcomed and fully supported Director Li Congyu’s team. They accompanied the delegation throughout the visit, engaging in discussions and exchanges on key areas such as brand development, corporate culture, and customer experience.

Currently, the Belt and Road Initiative has entered a fast-track phase. Faced with tremendous opportunities, how to position itself as a model and landmark project along the Belt and Road has become the central focus of in-depth exploration for the Central Plains Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port. Earlier this year, Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port Co., Ltd. formed a strategic partnership with the Belt and Road Cultural Communication and Economic Development Research Group, establishing a dedicated task force focused on the Belt and Road Initiative and Henan’s aquatic logistics port. This team is tasked with conducting research, field visits, drafting, reviewing, and finalizing comprehensive project reports, ultimately producing insightful research findings. Notably, the "Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port" has been designated as a key project and included in the group’s dynamic database of Belt and Road initiatives.

Qiu Xinhang, Chairman of the Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port, stated that the port’s development philosophy—openness, inclusiveness, and sustainability—aligns perfectly with the Silk Road spirit promoted by the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as the five core development principles of "innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and shared benefits." The Belt and Road Initiative embodies a path of openness, collaboration, and mutual win-win outcomes, and the Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port has set a replicable and scalable model for fostering the clustering, upgrading, and sustainable growth of logistics industries. As a flagship project under the Belt and Road Cultural Exchange and Economic Development Task Force, the "Henan Zhongyuan Aquatic Product Logistics Port" initiative holds significant practical importance in helping Henan achieve its goal of becoming a vital logistics hub connecting domestic and international markets while radiating across eastern, central, and western regions. Ultimately, this project will make a distinctive contribution to the broader vision of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Director Li Congyu highly praised the achievements of the Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port across various fronts. He noted that the port stands as a large-scale market in China's central and western regions, integrating the trading and processing of aquatic products and livestock commodities. It also serves as a major cold-chain, warehousing, and logistics hub for the entire region. Leveraging the global trend and benefiting from the favorable winds of the Belt and Road Initiative, the port is seizing the opportunity to be nominated as one of the "Top 100 Chinese Independent Brand Enterprises," thereby propelling Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port toward even greater success on its journey ahead. Meanwhile, it’s worth noting that Henan Four Seasons Pangge Group Co., Ltd., another well-known enterprise in the Central Plains region and also chaired by Qiu Xinhang, is actively preparing to apply for the research process aimed at identifying outstanding companies for the "2017 Third China Independent Brand Awards."

On the day of the inspection, Zhang Xiulong, Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Zhou Guanghua, Deputy Secretary-General of the People's Government, Liu Jun, Director of the Department of Agriculture, and Cai Zhongping, Deputy Secretary of the Beihai Municipal Party Committee, among others, also visited the Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port to conduct a research visit on the cooperation and coordination efforts between Guangxi Beihai and Henan’s Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port.

It is reported that the China Independent Brand Summit, guided by the People's Daily, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and the State Administration for Market Regulation, is an important event initiated and organized by the People's Forum Magazine of the People's Daily. The summit aims to deeply implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech—advocating the transformation from "Made in China" to "Created in China," from "China Speed" to "China Quality," and from "Chinese Products" to "Chinese Brands."
