Jiao Jinmiao, Director of the Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, extended his congratulations to the newly elected president, vice presidents, and board members on behalf of the department. He emphasized that, at this critical juncture of thoroughly implementing and studying the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Henan Province’s 10th Party Congress has outlined a strategic goal: driving development through openness and building the province into a thriving inland hub. This initiative will foster institutional innovation within the free trade zone, aligning it with internationally recognized investment and trade standards—and, in turn, creating unprecedented opportunities for foreign-invested enterprises operating in Henan. Director Jiao encouraged the Foreign-Invested Enterprises Association to seize these opportunities by strengthening its governance systems, staying attuned to evolving trends, fostering continuous innovation, and actively building robust platforms. He urged the association to enhance its service mindset, embrace the guiding principles of the new era, and leverage its resources effectively. By doing so, the association can play a vital role as a bridge between businesses and policymakers, contributing significantly to accelerating the province’s open-economy development and helping shape a new, comprehensive framework for global engagement.

Newly elected President Hu Baosen stated that he will lead the new leadership team to closely focus on the key tasks set by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, fostering the healthy development of member organizations while strengthening platform and organizational infrastructure, enhancing internal and external collaboration, and reinforcing self-improvement. This effort aims to boost the association’s cohesion, competitiveness, and influence, while promoting a culture rooted in integrity, compliance, mutual support, continuous learning, open sharing, dedicated service, seamless integration, and sustainable growth. Additionally, the association will actively embrace social responsibility by engaging in public welfare initiatives and dedicating itself to societal causes. Ultimately, the goal is to establish the association as a premier platform for learning, service provision, and resource-sharing. To further strengthen ties between businesses and government, the association will implement a regular communication mechanism and introduce an "Foreign-Invested Enterprise Service Day." These measures will help expand the scale of member companies, steadily grow the association’s membership base, and attract innovative, high-performing foreign-invested enterprises to join. By leveraging business-to-business networking strategies, the association will continue making meaningful contributions to Henan’s economic and social development.
