"Business Opportunities Meet Beihai": The Henan-Beihai "Belt and Road" Investment Cooperation Seminar and Project Partnership Signing Ceremony was held at 10:00 a.m. on October 31, 2017, at the Wanda Wen Hua Hotel in Zhengzhou City. Attendees included Qiu Xinhang, Chairman of Henan Zhongyuan Siji Aquatic Product Logistics Port; He Lihong, General Manager; and Lu Rongde, Director of the General Office. Keynote speeches were delivered by Zeng Zixiang, Member of the Standing Committee and Vice Mayor of Beihai Municipal Party Committee, Peng Guoli, Director of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region’s Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and ASEAN Open Cooperation Office, and Zhang Jinxuan, Director of the Autonomous Region’s Investment Promotion Bureau. Chen Xun, Vice Mayor of the Beihai Municipal Government, also provided an overview of Beihai’s investment-friendly environment. During the event, Chairman Qiu Xinhang highlighted the collaborative efforts between the Beihai government and Henan Zhongyuan Siji Aquatic Product Logistics Port, while also inquiring about the anticipated opening date for the high-speed rail connecting Zhengzhou to Beihai. He further expressed his delight over the recent launch of the Nanning Airlines flight route from Zhengzhou Airport to Beihai. Meanwhile, Guo Haibin, Chairman of Xinmeilai Cold Chain Logistics Co., Ltd., a merchant from our Zhongyuan Siji Aquatic Product Logistics Port, took the stage to announce plans for a significant investment of 100 million yuan in Beihai—a commitment that was officially sealed during the ceremony.
The Beihai Municipal Government has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Henan Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port. Leaders from the autonomous region government, as well as officials from Beihai’s Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, have visited and inspected the logistics port on multiple occasions. Following today’s project signing ceremony, Mr. Chen Xun, Vice Mayor of Beihai, once again led a delegation to visit and examine the logistics port, further accelerating the collaboration between the two sides and ensuring that the project takes root and flourishes in Beihai at an early date.
