During the meeting, leaders from various departments in Huiji District outlined specific requirements related to food safety, optimizing the market development environment, attracting investment, promoting tax laws and ensuring policy implementation, as well as addressing financing challenges faced by businesses. Each department emphasized that Huiji District will continue to deliver superior services and implement people-benefiting policies, fostering a world-class business climate, boosting market vitality, and encouraging enterprises to invest and establish operations here—working together to drive the district’s rapid economic growth.
At the promotion meeting, He Lihong, General Manager of the Logistics Port, delivered the annual work summary. Mr. He highlighted that the remarkable progress and achievements the Logistics Port has made over the years are the result of the hard work and collective efforts of everyone associated with the port. Today, it’s widely recognized in the national meat trading industry that "When it comes to nationwide meat prices, look to Zhengzhou; and when it comes to Zhengzhou’s meat prices, look to the Logistics Port," underscoring the port’s pivotal role as a key indicator of meat market trends across China. To further implement the proactive economic development initiatives introduced by governments at the national, provincial, municipal, and district levels, the Logistics Port has continuously innovated. Notably, it has established the nation’s first dedicated import frozen products zone and recently set up an International Trade Department. Currently, the port is vigorously advancing the construction of a pre-made meal industrial park, leveraging its unparalleled advantages in product sourcing, warehousing, and logistics to scale up and strengthen the pre-made meal sector. To better serve merchants and reduce transportation costs, the Logistics Port invested in 2022 to purchase 100 hydrogen-powered cold-chain logistics vehicles—available for both rental and sale. Merchants interested in these vehicles can contact the company’s office to arrange the necessary procedures. Mr. He also urged all merchants to operate with integrity, strictly adhering to laws and regulations, while emphasizing that every department within the company must enhance its service mindset and elevate its operational standards. Together, they can foster a positive market environment characterized by orderliness and trustworthiness. In closing, Mr. He emphasized, "The continued growth of the Logistics Port relies heavily on the cooperation and support of our valued merchants. Guided by the Party’s business-friendly policies and under the strategic guidance of both the Zhengzhou City and Huiji District governments, the Logistics Port will further refine its operations, ensuring compliance with the law. Our mission is to deliver green, healthy, and delicious food products to people across the country, enabling consumers to ‘shop with confidence and dine with peace of mind.’ Ultimately, we’re committed to contributing to a brighter future for Huiji District."
This year's conference was nothing short of spectacular, buzzing with an electric atmosphere as industry leaders from beef, pork, seafood, bakery products, and ready-to-cook meals—among other key sectors—gathered under one roof. The five grand halls of the eco-park were packed to capacity. The main stage was set up in the Yingge Yandu Hall, while guests tuned in via live stream to follow the proceedings from the other halls. Between sessions, attendees eagerly exchanged contact information, shared insights on current frozen-food market trends, explored potential partnerships, and enthusiastically envisioned a promising future together.
"Half an acre of pond, clear as a mirror— The sky’s light and cloud shadows linger together. I ask, how does it remain so pure? Simply because fresh water keeps flowing in." Chairman Qiu Xinhang’s powerful and resonant recitation echoed throughout the hall, met instantly by a wave of thunderous applause and cheers. At the meeting, Chairman Qiu delivered a speech on behalf of the Logistics Port, sharing with the assembled guests the port’s remarkable journey over the past decades: starting from its humble beginnings in 1991 at the Nanyang Road Beef and Mutton Processing Plant, when visionary entrepreneurs first ventured into the frozen food industry. Over time, more and more forward-thinking individuals joined the sector, driving the growth of Zhengzhou’s aquatic product market. This momentum culminated in the grand opening of the Zhengzhou Aquatic Products World—and today, the Central Plains Four Seasons Aquatic Products Logistics Port has grown into a global hub, seamlessly connecting domestic and international markets while serving customers across China. Driven by relentless determination, generations of aquaculture professionals have risen to meet the challenges of their time, pioneering innovations that have reshaped the entire frozen-food industry. Today, the Logistics Port boasts comprehensive service facilities, including an Agricultural Product Testing and Inspection Center, a Cold-Chain Logistics Distribution Hub, a Dedicated Zone for Imported Meat Products, a Pre-made Meal Production and Processing Industrial Park, an E-commerce Live-Streaming Platform, and a Merchant Service Center. Annually, the port handles over 7 million tons of goods, generating transactions worth more than 200 billion yuan. Meanwhile, the port’s remarkable development has also earned the attention and support of the Party and the state. Most notably, it was designated by the State Council’s Guosheng Think Tank as a specialized research base for the “Belt and Road” initiative and awarded the prestigious title of “Silk Road International Brand Port.” Additionally, the port has received numerous accolades, including recognition as a Model Cold-Chain Base for Chinese Brands, Food Products, and Agricultural Produce, as well as being honored as a National-Level Leading Enterprise in the industry.
" The Party and the government have consistently supported and encouraged the development of the private economy, providing private enterprises with guiding principles, policy frameworks, and favorable measures. We must diligently study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as the directives from higher authorities, to ensure our company achieves rapid growth and scales up into a stronger, more competitive entity," said the Chairman in his address. "Heavy winds provide the perfect lift—now is the ideal moment for us to soar. Looking ahead, with access to vast and promising markets, private enterprises stand at the cusp of limitless opportunities and immense potential. Our future is bright, and with the unwavering support and encouragement from governments at all levels, coupled with the active participation of our valued merchants, we’re united across the market, working together to drive even faster and more sustainable business growth. Together, let’s write a new chapter of high-quality development for Zhengzhou’s cold-chain logistics economy—and make an even greater contribution to the economic prosperity of Huiji District!"

Yet, everyone persevered with determination, pushing through the darkest moments to finally emerge into brighter times ahead. From the national level down to ordinary citizens, the entire country has been wholeheartedly committed to robust economic growth—driven by strong government support and guided by forward-thinking policies. Now is precisely the perfect moment to roll up our sleeves and work even harder. As General Manager Li Junli aptly put it in his address: "The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has clearly outlined the path forward for private enterprises, while provincial, municipal, and district governments have rolled out a series of favorable policies tailored specifically for the private sector. Under the wise leadership of the Huiji District Committee and District Government, we are united in our efforts, staying true to our core values while embracing innovation. Together, we’ll forge ahead with determination and resilience, ultimately transforming the Zhongyuan Four Seasons Aquatic Product Logistics Port into a world-class international trade hub for meat brands—and making an even greater contribution to revitalizing Huiji’s economy."
